The climate crisis is affecting our forests and causing fires - also here in Germany - to become a major threat. We want to prevent, educate and inform.

THAT'S WHY FOREST AND WILDLAND FIRES ARE SO DANGEROUS.

Forest fires not only have serious consequences for our ecosystems. In the worst cases, the devastating fires threaten human lives and settlements. In the United States alone, 46 people died in large fires last year, and more than 10,000 buildings were destroyed.

But it is not only the flames that create a danger; the resulting fire smoke also kills thousands of people around the world every year.
